Terms of Use

App: PDF Editor GR

Effective date: 29 October 2026
Owner: Mobile Safe Apps di Maria Cristina Galeota · Technical development: Giuseppe Romano

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of PDF Editor GR (the "App"), owned and published by Mobile Safe Apps di Maria Cristina Galeota, Italy, and technically developed and maintained by Giuseppe Romano on behalf of Mobile Safe Apps. You can contact us by email at mobilesafeapps@gmail.com. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, for personal or business purposes. This licence is subject to these Terms and to the terms of the app store from which you downloaded the App.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the App, or remove its notices, except where the law allows this despite such a restriction. Open-source components are licensed under their own licences, which are listed in the App.

2. Your documents and responsibility

You are responsible for the documents you process and the content you create. You must have the right to use that content and you must comply with the law when you use the App, including the rules on copyright, confidentiality and personal data. The App works on your device, so we do not review, store or check your documents.

3. Signatures and legal validity

The App lets you add handwritten-style signatures, initials and stamps to PDF documents. These are images placed on the document. They are not qualified or advanced electronic signatures under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS) or equivalent laws, and they do not identify the signer with a digital certificate.

Whether a document signed in this way is valid or accepted depends on the law and on the person or organisation that receives it. Check the requirements before you rely on a signature.

4. Passwords and protection

If you protect a PDF with a password, keep that password safe. The App cannot recover a forgotten password, and we cannot access or unlock your files for you.

5. Results of processing

Compression, conversion, watermarking and the other operations are provided as they are. The size reduction of a compressed file varies, and in some cases the result is not smaller than the original; the App then keeps the original and tells you so. Always check the result before you rely on it or delete the original.

6. Backups

The App's backup features (Android Auto Backup, iCloud device backup, export files and optional Google Drive backup) are there to help you. They depend on services outside our control and may fail or be incomplete. Keep your own copies of important documents and signatures.

7. Advertising and in-app purchases

On Android and iOS the App shows advertising. You can remove the ads with a one-time in-app purchase, "Remove ads", which is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. Prices are shown in the store. Refunds are handled by the store that sold the purchase, under its policies and applicable law. You can restore a purchase through the store's restore function.

8. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services, including Google Mobile Ads, Google's User Messaging Platform, Firebase and Google Sign-In with Google Drive. Your use of these services is also subject to the terms and policies of their providers. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Changes to the App

We may update, change or discontinue features of the App at any time. Some updates may be needed in order to keep using the App. We will publish updated Terms with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after an update means that you accept the updated Terms.

10. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, documents, profits or business, arising from your use of the App or your inability to use it.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App or for the in-app purchase during the twelve months before the claim, or to EUR 50 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you breach these Terms. Sections 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after the licence ends.

13. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by Italian law. The courts in Italy have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest of the Terms remains in effect. Together with the terms of the app store, these Terms form the complete agreement between you and us about the App.
